I am in a very rare, and I know limited time, of having a child impressed by one of my accomplishments! After hearing about the Dynamic Collective and Latin Love Basket business, the 7 year old asked to hear some of our music. Already feeling a little over excited, I played the classic "Mama Said." He was mildly impressed. Later that night the Latin Love Baskets cover of "911" by Public Enemy played in background as we ate dinner. Without prompting the 7 year old said, "Well I know that isn't you because you can't rap that good!" I nearly choked because I was in such a hurry to say, "Yes, that's me, that's me!" I am beyond thrilled. I am so grateful that we did a short run of Tried and Found Wantin' on Vinyl so I can prove we made a 'real' record.
