Lucy and Mama WIndward travel from their mountain home of Stonesong Holler to trade with friends and neighbors at the Salt Market in a village of Can-A-Ree. Lucy is excited to see her best friend and buddy Billy there.

Then the Windwards' goat, Grimble, starts a panic among the animals at the market. Can Lucy and Billy stop the stampede before it turns into a total disaster?
